This new business venture was driven by materials from the start. Four bespoke holiday cabins were designed and built by owners James Bros Construction with serious attention to detail, celebrating craftsmanship and materiality.

The branding needed to match this approach and the starting point for us was the corten (weathered) steel they wanted to use for the signage. A reverse logotype was created that could be cut away from the material, rather than added to. This resulted in us designing an entire bespoke typeface.

“We were very excited when Studio Format agreed to work with us on the brand creation for our new holiday cabin venture. They were very easy to work with and each step was very structured so we knew what we were getting all the way through. Many clients have commented very positively on our final sign and logo. We would highly recommend Becky and Matt to anyone!”
